Typically, at the end of each year, photographers like to write a ‘Best of 2012’ post and include shots that they think were, I guess, the best. I thought long and hard about doing that but this year I changed my mind.
2012 has been without a doubt the busiest year business-wise for me. I shot lots of weddings, did several portrait sessions, shot several times for and had my work showcased in a local magazine, and had fun throughout all that craziness. I worked with fellow photographers up in Ohio notably Paul Lender of Left of Center Photography and Edric Morales of EM Event Photography – both great guys to work with! I started working with a pretty fun, awesome assistant and Second Shooter – Kelly! *waves*
It was a year of melting wedding cakes, quitting limo drivers, snakes at weddings, Uncle Bobs galore, photo-bombing, and many, MANY smiles!
2012 was also a HUGE travel year for me. I visited California, Jamaica, and England covering weddings, military homecomings, friends and family as well as enjoying the world around me.
I’ve documented all this and you’ve been kind enough to leave some great comments for both me and my clients.
SO, in deciding what photographs I DO want to show you, I took a look through the work I’ve done and just picked out my favorites. They may not be the BEST, but they made me smile, they show the fun that can be had while I’m capturing the moments, they show the beauty in people. Some you will have seen before, others you haven’t.
I hope you like them…………….. and I hope that 2013 is not only AS good but exceeds all our expectations. I can’t wait to meet new people, make new friends and see more of this great world we live in while doing so.

Andrea these photos are absolutely beautiful! I love looking back at all of ours! Almost 5 months later I still laugh and cry looking at them! Thank you so much for helping us capture a memory of 2012!
