11.11.11 was a HUGELY popular date to be married which is why Nikki and Bob booked me a long time ago!

This day brought a lot of challenges as the weather was not playing nicely. Rain one minute, snow the next and we aren’t talking nice big fluffy snowflakes, it was more gray, hard, in your face ice. Every now and again we caught a break and we took advantage of that whenever we could 🙂 as shows in the following photographs.

I fell in LOVE with these blue shoes!

Bob looking all GQ here 🙂

Even though it was freezing cold, Nikki, Bob and their bridal party managed to make it to downtown Willoughby for a few quick shots 🙂

Then it was on to the reception at La Vera Party Center.

Three things I loved about this reception:

1. It was Veterans Day and they asked any retired or active members of the Armed Forces to come up to the dance floor and guests walked up to personally thank them for their service 🙂 .

2. Instead of the incessant clanking on glasses for the Bride and Groom to kiss, guests were asked to come up to the Bride and Groom and sing a couple of lines from a love song THEN they would kiss.

3. Nikki and Bob found these AWESOME light tubes that they handed out to everyone and they made PERFECT lighting accessories for each table – and light sabers for the kids 😉

Then it was on to the Photobooth for fun photographs.

Overall, a great day for Nikki, Bob and their families and friends – Congratulations!
