"Snow in South Carolina"

When I moved from Ohio almost three years ago – has it really been that long? – one of the top reasons was because I just don’t like snow and being cold and where we lived in Ohio? Sometimes it was snowy and cold for months in a row…………..

Then we moved to glorious, sunny, sometimes humid, Darlington, SC and I have never been happier.

Then last night? Guess what!? It snowed.

Yes.

Snow.

Mind you, it’s not the 3-feet-overnight, wind-chill-factor-six-below kind of snow I am used to. Just soft flaky snow, but snow nonetheless and snow that people down here don’t get very often – hence the widespread panic, bad drivers, post-apocolyptic looking empty shelves in grocery stores LOL.

It’s beautiful to look at, and beautiful to run outside and grab a few photos then come back inside!

This is about all I could muster from my porch and back yard. Like I said, beautiful to look at through the morning sun 🙂

Tomorrow this will all be a distant memory and I’ll be posting photos of the daffodils that are currently hidden under ‘all’ this snow 🙂

  1. You are right about the bad drivers and of course you would take such pretty photos of the snow. I’m glad you could capture it before it melts by this afternoon LOL
