Of all the things that can absolutely send a bride into a downward spiral of stress and nausea the week leading up to her wedding, the one two things that could just send her over the edge that are beyond her control are hurricanes and earthquakes.

Welcome to JoDee’s week leading up to her wedding :-/

Yep, both hit the area at possibly the most stressful time of her life with Hurricane Irene trying her best! JoDee however was fantastic and at no point did she let any of this bother her. In fact, quite the opposite. She continued headstrong into her preparations with the force both those disasters caused! Impressive.

The ceremony was held at St Johns Episcopal church in Florence on an overcast day but thankfully the rain held off!

Grandma was absolutely all kinds of adorable! LOVELY lovely lady!

Once we had finished with the formal photographs and snapped a few outside, it was time to head over to the Florence Country Club for the absolutely rocking reception!

The band – Tru Sol – were fantastic! If you are looking for a band for your wedding, party, whatever, they are GREAT and had EVERYONE dancing! I thought at one point JoDee was going to audition, she was having that much fun!

I managed to grab both John and JoDee for a quick photograph before it was almost time for the reception to end. I LOVE this one shot!

There were still SO MANY people left as the reception came to a close and they PACKED the runway for the limo – I squeezed in to grab the last two shots of the day!

Congratulations you guys, I look forward to seeing you when you return from your honeymoon!
