Claire and Michael flew into Jamaica from the town I grew up in – Leeds, England – along with 20 of their friends and family members. After being with them all for only a few minutes my accent slipped from the fantastically adjusted American one I have created and morphed into a real ‘Northern Lass’ one. It felt great 😉
They also appeared to have brought the English weather with them because it rained. A LOT. However, Claire promised me that she would ‘Rock the Rain’ should she have to and right up until she walked down the beach side aisle, she almost had to! She had two dresses, one for the day and one to wear once we had finished shooting the ceremony and for the dinner we all enjoyed later.
It was a lovely ceremony, and I’m so glad that they had so many friends to share it with and that these friends also brought me into their circle.
Claire and Michael will be enjoying Jamaica for just a few more days and will be having a reception next weekend for the remainder of their friends and family who couldn’t make it.
